How It Works
1. Add Members and Chores
Enter household members with their availability and preferences. Add chores with effort levels and frequency. Example: Alex does dishes on Monday, effort level 2.
2. Configure Settings
Choose between fair round-robin (takes turns) or weighted balance (considers capacity). Set your preferred start date and conflict handling.
3. Generate and Adjust
Click generate to create your plan. Review assignments and click any task to reassign it to a different eligible person. Export or share when you're happy with the plan.
Frequently Asked Questions
Fair Round-Robin rotates assignments among eligible members, remembering who did what last. Weighted Balance considers each person's capacity and current workload, assigning tasks to those with the lightest load first.
Tasks are only assigned to available members. If no one is available for a task on a specific day, it's marked as uncovered with an explanation.
Yes! Click on any assignment to see eligible alternatives. The plan will automatically rebalance totals when you make changes.
Capacity limits how many tasks someone can be assigned per week. Set to "Auto" for unlimited, or specify a number. Useful for balancing workload between adults and children.
